Cafe Tiramisu: Best Classic Tiramisu With Ladyfingers

Tiramisu has aphrodisiac properties and is considered a sweet. The terms ‘tiramisù‘ comes from Italian language. It is surely one of the most delicious desserts of our tradition. Today I will share my secrete Cafe Tiramisu recipe that is favorite of son.

Ingredients

  • 600 g of ladyfingersBasic preparation
  • 120 gr.of Sugar
  • 5 Eggs
  • 500 gr. of Mascarpone
  • Cocoa powder to taste
  • Coffee to taste
  • 30 ml of Rum

Preparation

Prepare a coffee with a moka pot, let it cool down and use the rum to correct that. Pour it into a bowl, large enough to soak one by one the ladyfingers. Place the biscuits in a plastic tray (the ones made especially for tiramisu you will easily find on the market) completely lining the bottom.

Beat the egg yolks with half the sugar, add the mascarpone and mix until the mixture is well blended with a wooden spoon.
Beat the steep egg whites separately, and the remaining sugar. Incorporate it all gently.

At this point you’ll get a cream that you’ll spread to form a layer over the ladyfingers with the help of a spoon or spatula.

Using a colander, cover everything with a sprinkling of cocoa powder, then proceed to form another layer of ladyfingers and cream.
Set in the fridge for a few hours to rest.

Cover your tiramisu with one last generous sprinkling of cocoa powder when serving.

Noted:

The ladyfingers get very quickly dipped into the coffee to prevent them from getting soaked and crumbling.
Mixing the different ingredients, always mix them in the same direction using the care.
The eggs have got to be very fresh.

Ideas and variations

You may also add a little coffee powder to the cocoa powder if you love bitter flavors.
You can decorate the cake’s surface at will with the aid of cardboard sh apes, even with greeting cards.
